Operation Santa Paws

Operation Santa Paws.

While we are celebrating with our family and friends this time of year, we will enjoy plenty to eat and drink. We will give gifts to our loved ones and enjoy the sounds and sights of the Holiday lights and Music.

Even with all of this going on, many of us recognize our blessings and do our best to give to those that are less fortunate than us. We donate our time at the local food bank; donate toys and clothes to families in need. It is a wonderful time of year for all of us to give back. To those that do – THANK YOU, you are making a difference.

There is still one area that is forgotten about around the Holidays. The animals. We all like to give out the cute puppies and kittens as gifts to our little ones. We don’t pay attention to the older pets available to us at your local shelter. There are many wonderful, loving animals in need of a home this season. Help to get them out of the cold and into a loving home.

For those of us who are not in a position to adopt an animal, there is Operation Santa Paws. This is a great nationwide event that helps the local shelters throughout the Holiday season. It runs from December 1st to December 18th. What Operation Santa Paws is doing is helping to give food and toys to the pets living in the shelter. With more supplies available, the shelters are able to keep more pets around and give them food; love and attention.

So, if you are able to extend your helping hand a bit further this year, consider Operation Santa Paws.

Happy Holidays to everyone.

Tax Credit Extension

Great news! The Home Buyer tax credit has been extended!

For those of you who were trying to meet the November 20th, 2009 deadline – you have more time.

This extension of the tax credit now gives you until April 30th, 2010. Much more time to look and find that “right” home. The tax credit will still give you up to $8,000.

It also provides help for those that have already purchased their homes. There is now a clause that will allow up to a $6,500 tax credit back to existing home owners who qualify.

If you don’t know if you qualify or have questions how to get started – let us know!  We would be glad to give you some hassle free help

Denver Colorado mortgage refinance

With all of the talk about the tax credit and how great the time to purchase a home, we also need to mention the opportunity to refinance your existing Denver Colorado mortgage now.

The rates on FHA; VA and conforming loans are still near all-time lows. Our lenders are offering great programs to kick off the 4th quarter. Turn times are short and underwriting guidelines are getting more relaxed than they have been in over a year.

What does that mean? It means if you have not been able to qualify for a refinance of your Denver Colorado mortgage or other areas in the past, now the chances are you are more likely to get approved with less hassle than ever before!!!

If you have been watching the news, the outlook doesn’t look great for rates and programs in the upcoming months. With the fears that all of the Stimulus packages coming due and inflation concerns, rates will follow and start to go up. We have already seen some lenders start to increase.

So, now is the time! If you have been thinking about refinancing your home, now is the time to act. All the pieces are in place, take advantage of them.

Refinance your Denver Colorado mortgage today
